Installation of Telescopic Shock Absorbers
1. During installation, do not strike the surface of the shock absorber cylinder with heavy metal objects, and do not forcefully pry open the welded dust cover on the outside of the shock absorber.
2. For shock absorbers using tapered rubber pads for vibration isolation, use shims to press down the cross-section of the tapered rubber pads fitted into the inner holes at both ends of the lifting ring.
3. Do not damage the surface of the rubber components fitted to the shock absorber (such as the buffer sleeve assembly) during installation.
4. After the shock absorber is installed, tighten the threads of the connecting parts according to the torque requirements specified for the vehicle, ensuring that the connecting parts are secure and reliable, without any looseness, and apply anti-rust paint to the tightened parts.
Front and Rear Shock Absorber Installation
1. Front and rear shock absorbers (cores) refer to external structural components that require additional installation on the vehicle, such as coil springs, spring seats, anti-pressure pads, and bearings.
2. Before replacing and installing the shock absorbers, the following external structural components should be checked for quality: bearings should move flexibly; the inner surface of the anti-pressure pads should be free of cracks and damage; coil springs should not show signs of fatigue or attenuation; and the shock-absorbing rubber should be free of permanent deformation, aging, and damage.
3. During assembly, do not use any hard objects to strike, clamp, or rub the connecting rod surface to avoid oil leakage.
