Introduction to Performance

 

Using natural rubber reinforced with proper carbon black and anti-fatigue agents, TGE Fatigue Resistant Dampers achieve a fatigue crack growth resistance that significantly exceeds other rubber compounds. Endurance testing demonstrates stable dynamic stiffness with very limited shift after 1 million cycles at 100% design load. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C, with short-term peaks up to +100°C.

Tear-resistant natural rubber is our baseline, but for certain elevated temperature applications we also offer fatigue-optimized HNBR. The formulation focuses on tight crosslink network control and even filler dispersion-achieved through internal mixing and precisely timed curing process. Metal inserts undergo proper treatment before molding to ensure adhesion robustness even after millions of load cycles.
