When the application demands exacting oil and fuel resistance in a dynamic membrane, generic rubber falls short. Our NBR Membrane is purposely formulated with optimized ingredients to resist swelling in petroleum-based fluids. It is the standard sealing membrane for fuel pumps, oil pressure regulators, automatic transmission valves, etc., where prolonged hydrocarbon exposure and pulse fatigue would compromise lower-grade materials.
Introduction to Performance
Volume swell in ASTM IRM 903 oil after 72 hours at 100°C is controlled with strict limit, maintaining stroke accuracy. Tensile strength and elongation at break both meet high standard, providing a robust safety margin against pressure spikes. The compound demonstrates over 1 million flex cycles without surface cracks when tested in a simulated fuel pump pulse rig, and operating temperature reaches -30°C to +70°C.
Introduction to Processing Techniques and Materials
We internally mix our NBR base compounds, allowing precise control of ingredients to balance oil resistance with low-temperature flexibility. Fabric reinforcement is integrated when high burst strength is required.

NBR Membrane can be applied in automotive mechanical fuel pump diaphragms, small engine carburettor membranes, automatic transmission accumulator membranes, and LPG regulator diaphragms. Also suitable for biodiesel-compatible fuel system components.
