Our Nitrile NBR Gasket is manufactured in molded form, offering a cost-effective sealing solution for hydraulic reservoirs, gearbox covers, pipe flanges, and compressor housings. With excellent compression set resistance, it fills surface irregularities and maintains seal integrity under constant bolt load.
Introduction to Performance
Typical hardness is 60–70 Shore A, with compressive strength above 10 MPa. Gas permeability is low, and sealing capability is maintained after 22-hour compression set testing at 100°C with values ≤25 %. The material resists mineral oils, water-glycol mixtures, and aliphatic hydrocarbons, though it is not recommended for strong oxidizers or brake fluids.
Introduction to Processing Techniques and Materials
Our factory compounds its own NBR recipes, adjusting filler loading to achieve specific density, hardness, and chemical resistance profiles. Gaskets are produced through compression molding for complex cross-sections. For critical applications, we apply a controlled swelling pressure test to confirm seal performance before shipment.
